🧪 Our matcha is SGS Institut Fresenius tested — zero pesticide residues across 600+ substances screened. The strawberry is certified organic.

Our Morning Mist ceremonial matcha, blended with organic freeze-dried strawberry. The strawberry is intentionally subtle — matcha stays at the forefront, with just a soft berry sweetness on the finish. Two ingredients, nothing else — no added sugar, no natural flavors, no fillers. The calm, steady energy of ceremonial matcha, with sweetness that comes from real fruit instead of syrup. Here for a limited time only.

~$2.80 a cup made at home — versus $10 for a strawberry matcha latte at a café. A 100g tin makes about 15 cups.

Two ingredients. That's it.

Morning Mist Light · Floral · Sweet
Strawberry Organic · Freeze-dried

Every tin holds 30g of our Tsuyuhikari ceremonial matcha from Shizuoka, blended with organic freeze-dried strawberry to 100g. That's the whole ingredient list — real fruit is what keeps it tasting like strawberries rather than candy.

  • No added sugar
  • No natural flavors
  • No sweeteners
  • No fillers
  • Gluten free
  • A two-ingredient label — ceremonial matcha and organic freeze-dried strawberry. No added sugar, no natural flavors, no sweeteners, no fillers, no preservatives. Naturally gluten free, since neither ingredient is a grain.
  • Real fruit, not flavoring — the sweetness is the strawberry itself, which is why it tastes like fruit rather than candy
  • Nutrition from whole strawberry — freeze-dried fruit brings the strawberry's vitamin C and antioxidant polyphenols (the anthocyanins behind its red color), not just flavor
  • Calm, steady energy — matcha pairs caffeine with L-theanine, the amino acid behind that focused-but-not-jittery feeling. No spike, no 3pm crash.
  • A gentler swap for the café order — a strawberry matcha latte out is mostly syrup and sugar. This is the same drink without either.
  • Zero pesticide residues in the matcha — independently tested by SGS Institut Fresenius across 600+ substances, and negative for E. coli and Salmonella
  • Certified organic strawberry — CCOF certified, non-GMO, vegan, and cold-pressed before freeze-drying, with 0g of added sugars on its panel
  • Shade-grown and stone-ground — ceremonial grade from a family farm in Shizuoka operating since 1902
  • 100g tin — 30g of ceremonial matcha blended with organic strawberry, about 15 servings at 3 tsp a cup

The strawberry isn't there for color — it's whole fruit, and freeze-drying keeps most of its nutrition intact. That's the difference between real strawberry and a strawberry flavoring.

  • Naturally rich in vitamin C — strawberries are one of the highest-vitamin-C fruits gram for gram. Vitamin C is an essential nutrient the body can't make on its own.
  • Antioxidant polyphenols — including the anthocyanins that give strawberries their deep red. Alongside the catechins in matcha, the blend is antioxidant-rich from both ingredients.
  • Whole-fruit fiber — because it's the pressed, dried berry rather than an extract or a flavoring, the fruit's natural fiber comes with it.
  • Freeze-dried, not heat-dried — a low-temperature process that removes only the water, so the strawberry's vitamin C and antioxidants stay largely intact rather than being cooked off.
  • 0g added sugar — every gram of sweetness is the fruit itself; the strawberry's nutrition panel lists no added sugars.

Strawberry Fields is for the mornings when a straight cup of matcha feels like a bit much — and for anyone who reads the label before they buy.

  • If you want a flavored matcha without the added sugar that usually comes with one
  • If you love matcha but want something lighter when it's warm out
  • If you're easing into matcha and want a gentler first cup
  • If you're trading down from coffee and want energy that doesn't cost you the afternoon
  • If you check where your food comes from and want the testing to back it up
  • If you already drink Morning Mist and want to change up the ritual for a season

Iced — the summer way:

  • Sift 3 tsp (6.6g) into your bowl or mug to prevent clumping
  • Whisk with about 80ml (⅓ cup) of warm water — not boiling, around 175°F — until smooth and no lumps remain
  • Pour over a tall glass of ice, then top with about 180ml (¾ cup) of cold water or your milk of choice

Prefer it warm? Whisk 3 tsp with about 200ml (a scant cup) of 175°F water in a W-motion for 30 seconds and drink as is. A standard bamboo whisk or electric frother works perfectly for both.

A 100g tin holds about 15 servings — 30g of that is ceremonial matcha, the rest is strawberry. The scoop is bigger than straight matcha because you're measuring both together.

The matcha. A single family farm in Shizuoka, Japan — a UNESCO-recognized Globally Important Agricultural Heritage site. The farm has been growing tea since 1902 and has won the Minister of Agriculture Award 16 times, the highest recognition in Japanese tea farming. Every batch is independently tested by SGS Institut Fresenius: zero pesticide residues across 600+ substances screened, and negative for E. coli and Salmonella.

The strawberry. A single ingredient — organic strawberry, cold-pressed and freeze-dried to keep the flavor and color intact. Certified organic by CCOF, non-GMO, and vegan, with nothing else added. Its nutrition panel lists 0g of added sugars; every gram of sweetness in your cup is the fruit itself.

Strawberry Fields is a limited summer release — we blend a set quantity and sell it until it's gone. When it sells out, it's gone for the season.

Really fun and lovely twist to the matcha. Strawberry is a great iced matcha. It is light and refreshing on the hot summer days.

I have to say- this wasn’t what I was expecting, I really don’t know what I was expecting but this- this is AMAZING!!! I am new to dawn matcha and love the first mist is the only one I’ve ever had. Thankfully I ordered 3 tins and I really don’t want it to run out. This blend is nothing like first mist,
It’s just as glorious as first mist but totally different. I love a good strawberry matcha and this exceeded my expectations! Please consider offering it year round, I’m hooked and wishing I ordered two or three tins of it because I don’t want it to run out!

You just might convince us to do year round!! Thank you for your review.

While very tasty, there is not that much strawberry flavor. I like that it is a lighter taste to the matcha. Would still order in the future.

Hi Susan, thank you for your review!! We agree, we formulated this drop as a subtle strawberry flavor. We wanted morning mist to be the star of the show still. Glad you liked it!
